BERTRAND RAICHE

Bertrand Raiche, Driver

Originally from Allardville, NB, Bertrand lives with his wife in Bathurst, NB and they have 3 children. 

"My two main passions are my job and the gas bicycle (Harley Davidson)". 

A heavy equipment operator, then a lumber truck driver for 15 years, Bertrand has always loved trucks. 

What he likes the most in this job: constantly taking up new challenges, discovering new places.  

There's just one thing he doesn't like: when his truck is dirty. 

When he arrived at Anderson Siding Hauling Inc. in April 2020, in spite of difficulties in reading and writing, no knowledge of using a GPS, very little knowledge of using a cell phone, and no truck trips alone in the United States: Bertrand managed to accomplish all the tasks required, taking up every challenge he encountered with good humor, hard work and passion. 

He appreciates the quality of service of the administrative team, the correctness of the supervision by Gaëtan Coulombe and the good atmosphere with "a cup of chums drivers". 

Bertand is really looking forward to having his new truck in service: a special project for which he really appreciates being asked for his opinion.

Bertrand Raiche, Chauffeur

Originaire d’Allardville au Nouveau-Brunswick, Bertrand habite avec sa conjointe à Bathurst, N.B et ils ont 3 enfants. 

« Mes deux principales passions sont ma job et le bicycle à gaz (Harley Davidson) ». 

Opérateur de machineries lourdes, puis camionneur de bois pendant 15 ans, Bertrand a toujours aimé les camions. 

Ce qu’il aime le plus dans ce métier : relever sans cesse de nouveaux challenges, découvrir de nouvelles places.  

Il y a juste une chose qu’il n’aime pas : quand son camion est sale. 

A son arrivée chez Anderson Siding Hauling Inc., en avril 2020, malgré des difficultés pour lire et écrire, aucune connaissance sur l’utilisation d’un GPS, très peu sur l’utilisation d’un cellulaire et aucun voyage effectué seul en camion aux États-Unis : Bertrand a réussi à réaliser toutes les tâches demandées, en relevant avec bonne humeur, travail et passion chaque défi rencontré. 

Il apprécie la qualité de service de l’équipe administrative, la justesse de l’encadrement par Gaëtan Coulombe et la bonne ambiance avec « une coupe de chums drivers ». 

Bertand a vraiment hâte que son nouveau camion soit en service : projet spécial pour lequel il apprécie énormément d’être sollicité pour donner son avis.
